I am passionate about working with people who are struggling with what life has thrown at them; using therapy to explore what might be preventing them reaching their full potential and how they can make beneficial changes.

Christine’s approach to counselling therapy

I am approachable and empathic, and offer a safe space where we can explore what is going on for you, and your options for change, in complete confidence. I have a very broad range of counselling experience, having worked extensively with people with all kinds of issues, from relationship and workplace problems to past traumatic experience.  As well as my private Basingstoke therapy practice, I worked for many years with both adults and young people for a local charity and have also worked with sixth-formers in school. The idea of psychological therapy may be daunting, not to say frightening, but there is no reason for it to be. It’s basically a collective term for safe, proven methods to enhance mental wellbeing.

My course included two years of personal therapy – I know what it’s like to sit in the client’s chair!
